Julia Velarde received a BFA in Traditional Animation at the Pratt Institute in 2014 and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. She's worked since then as an Animator and Compositor for several Nick Jr. productions and The Dodo. With a background in puppet making and painting, she brings a hand crafted touch to her animation to create all-encompassing pieces filled with emotion.
